What I learned from my AS result

In terms of coursework, I felt I could have worked in a different group to the one I was originally In as I felt it led to me doing the majority of the work or relying on other people to complete tasks in order for our group to move on. I felt I should have taken more responsibility in terms of taking charge of the group from the beginning which in turn potentially could have prevented our group falling behind in some situations. This experience has made me reluctant to work in groups for future projects.

In terms of exam preparation, I received a C overall however I feel more could be done in the second section in order to receive a higher grade for year 13. I felt my response to the video drama piece was grammatically coherent and structured appropriately but I could have elaborated on some of my points further than i did and include more media terminology. I was happy I received my target grade for the year however I feel with more preparation regarding terminology and using it effectively I could have received a better grade.

This year I would prefer to work independantley as I feel that is how I work best.
