Initial Audience Research
Jeff is a 19 year old student whose life evolves around music, he is enthusiastic about his favourite bands and regularly attends gigs and music festivals. Jeff is always seen with headphones in whilst walking around his university campus and struggles to study without them. Jeff is not necessarily the most popular but is at an age where he can surround himself around the right people and doesn't care about peoples opinions of him, he finds them irrelevant.
Social media is a big interest in Jeff's life, whilst not necessarily having the charisma or confidence to post opinions on a youtube video he is an avid poster on Twitter and Reddit providing his insight and opinions on current issues, music and his political perspective, which some people find pretentious but Jeff is passionate about his viewpoint.
Jeff is not keen on sport, finding football and rugby for conformists, but he works at Skating and fashion shop Vans part time to earn enough money for gigs and festivals so he has enough knowledge in terms of skateboarding jargon. Jeff choses to work here as he receives discount on the clothes there which is what he considers trendy [ripped jeans, vans and checked shirt]
